Barutun Ateşli Silahlarda Kullanılması :

Barut ilk defa Çinliler tarafından kullanıldı. Avrupalılar Haçlı Seferleri sırasında barutla tanıştı. İngilizler Yüzyıl Savaşları'nda ilk kez barutu toplarda kullandı. Savaş topunun kullanımının artması ile feodal yönetimler yıkıldı.

Pusulanın Bulunması :

Pusula ilk defa Çinliler tarafından kullanılmaya başlandı. Pusulanın gemicilik alanında kullanılmaya başlanması ile açık denizlerde seyahat kolaylaştı.

Kağıt ve Matbaa:

Matbaa ilk defa Çinliler tarafından kullanıldı. Uygur Türkleri matbaayı geliştirerel hareketli harfleri icat etti. Avrupa'da hareketli matbaa ilk defa Johann Gutenberg tarafından icat edildi.
